Fashionista 2016 was a fashion and hair show that took place on July 17th at the Marriott Frenchmans Reef. Proceeds from the tickets sold went to United Way of the USVI. It was a fun, fashion-filled event thanks to the staff, models, and awesome volunteers!
A great day of interaction at the Virgin Islands Housing Authority Father's Day event on June 17th, 2016 at the John. F. Kennedy Terrace in St. Croix. We celebrated fathers and their children while volunteers assited with games, crafts, music, and story telling.
June 11th, 2016 was a great day for sports, arts & crafts, and family fun at the Griffith Ball Park! At this event, held by the Virgin Islands Housing Authority, United Way volunteers assisted the children with making Fathers Day cards, pictures and crafts and facilitated story time readings in the V.I.
It was a happy time filled with smiles and laughter on May 28th, 2016 at the Lucinda Millin Senior Home on St. Thomas. Senior Day of Caring was a success with fun activities including inspirational dance, bingo, Zumba fitness, sewing, and arts & crafts.
Hardworking volunteers came out on May 21st, 2016 to spruce up the Flamboyant Gardens Senior Living Community in St. Croix. We want to thank our faithful donors and committed volunteers for seeing the value in a senior's smile and the effect good can have on us all.
United Way of the USVI took part in the St. Patricks Day Parade on March 19th, 2016 in Christiansted, St. Croix. Thank you to all of our supporters and patrons who flew the United Way USVI colors celebrating the "Luck of the Irie!!" Special Thanks to Netwave Unlimited Services and Thali Indian Grill for spreading our community outreach message on their parade float entries.
